The manufacturer (Barry Callebaut Sweden AB) has granted a shelf life extension of 12 months to August 2027, based on evaluation of organoleptic characteristics (taste, powder structure and smell) and shelf life study results. Powdered products have a low water activity that inhibits bacterial growth. A shelf life extension certificate is available to download — please contact us if required.  A shelf-life extension is when a manufacturer confirms that a product remains safe and suitable to use beyond the best-before date originally printed on its packaging. It does not mean an expired product has been relabelled informally.
