Our Approach to Charity Requests: Supporting Our Community with Purpose

Our Approach to Charity Requests: Supporting Our Community with Purpose

At Vending Superstore, we’re genuinely inspired by the incredible work people do to make a positive impact. Whether it’s a local fundraiser, supporting a school event, or backing a community cause, we admire the dedication and passion behind every charity request we receive.

We know how much effort goes into making a difference, and we truly appreciate being considered as a potential supporter. It’s humbling to be approached by so many people doing great things.

However, as much as we’d love to help everyone, the reality is that we simply can’t. As a small business, our resources are limited, and we receive more requests than we could ever hope to fulfil. It’s not about the worthiness of the cause - it’s about being honest about what we can realistically offer.

Our Commitment to Local Support
Rather than spreading ourselves too thin, we’ve chosen to focus our support on a select number of local causes and initiatives that resonate with our team. By doing this, we can make a meaningful impact where it matters most.

Donating Surplus Stock to Local Food Banks
We believe in giving back to our community in practical ways, which is why we donate our surplus or short-dated stock to our local food bank. This helps support those in need while reducing waste - something we’re passionate about at Vending Superstore.

Sponsoring Community Events and Fundraisers
This year, we were honoured to sponsor the Golden Gates Gallop, an event where all profits went to Blood Cancer UK. It was an inspiring day filled with community spirit, and we were proud to play a small part in supporting such a meaningful cause.

Empowering Young People to Make a Difference
We were also privileged to help Izzy and Louisa on their journey to Nakuru, Kenya, where they volunteered in teaching and helped build new classrooms. To participate, they each had to raise £3,000 through their own fundraising efforts. We were inspired by their determination and were thrilled to help them make a real impact abroad.

Supporting Charities Close to Our Team’s Hearts
At Vending Superstore, we believe in backing causes that matter to our team. That’s why we’ve also supported charities like Cancer Research UK and Alzheimer’s Research UK - organisations that have personal significance to members of our team.

Why We Can’t Support Every Request
We receive a high volume of charity requests, and while we wish we could support them all, it’s simply not feasible. We’re a small business, and our resources are limited. That’s why we’ve made the difficult decision to focus our efforts on local causes and initiatives that resonate with our team.

This doesn’t mean your cause isn’t important - it’s just a matter of capacity. If we can’t contribute to your fundraiser or event, please understand that it’s not a reflection on the value of your cause or the hard work you’re putting in.

Our Approach Moving Forward
We’re committed to continuing our support for local causes and initiatives that are close to our team’s hearts. While we can’t fulfil every request, we want to thank everyone who reaches out for their dedication to making a difference.

We truly wish you every success in your charitable endeavours and hope your cause receives the support it deserves.

A Heartfelt Thank You for Your Understanding
We deeply admire the passion and effort that goes into every fundraising campaign and community project. It’s genuinely inspiring to see so many people striving to make a positive impact.

Thank you for considering Vending Superstore and for understanding our approach. We’ll continue to support our community in the best way we can and wish you every success in your charitable journey.
