How to Make the Perfect Brew

1. Run the tap for a few seconds so the water is nicely aerated and use water that has only been boiled once — repeatedly boiling reduces oxygen levels and can affect flavour.
2. Warm the teapot first by filling it with boiling water, then warm your tea cups using water from the pot.
3. For a standard 4-cup pot, use two tea bags. Pour freshly boiled water into the pot, stir for a few seconds and leave to brew for around 5 minutes before serving.
